It's a nice day trip as it includes a wall ti go see the figure 8 pool. Please note there is only one pool that has the figure. They way back it's really exhausting so get hiking shoes as there are many stairs up.
Honestly cannot stress enough how important footwear is for this hike. The terrain is uneven, there are sticks, large tree roots, sharp rocks, etc. And we saw so many people in thongs!
Make sure you check the tide on the Figure 8 Pool website when...More
Didn’t know much of what to expect but did our research on the tides in advance. Was very important because if it’s high tired you will hike down for an hour just to have to turn around immediately.

Morning Miss Lopez - We walked down from "Garrawarra Farm Carpark" at the end of "Garrawarra Farm Rd" off Sir Bertram Stevens Drive, which is from memory about 2kms of dirt track (no problem in a normal sedan - no 4wd needed). It is a bit hard to notice from the road so go slow ... The track down to Burning Palms is pretty well marked - down hill then to the right till you break on to the beach. Enjoy (and remember never turn your back on the ocean).
