So you're ready to Party in Manila… of course the area to go to would be The Fort! Valkyrie at The Palace is the newest and biggest club at The Palace. It's beautiful! Definitely has so much room for dancing and the lights are a dazzle for the eyes. Music is a mix of house and Hip Hop. DJ's do a great job to keep the party going. Aerial dancers starts at 1 am :) Tips: If you're looking for a table, Mezzanine is the best - you'll have great view of the dance floor and enough space to actually socialize with your party. Drinks starts at PHP 350 for cocktails, PHP 170 for beer. This place is a dress to impress - Next door is the Pool Club at The Palace, you can start around 8pm at the Pool Club for a swim & get ready there, then head to Valkyrie, it's right next to each other. The Pool Club also has awesome DJ's spinning and drink prices the same as Valky. GET on the Guest list! Guest list is a must or entrance cover as follows: Valkyrie (400php), The Palace Pool Club (800php w/ 2drinks). The Palace will definitely have something to entertain you and your friends… a guaranteed fun day / night out!

There for Saturday over the Chinese New Year weekend.
Entrance fee was 1000PHP per person, up from 750PHP in reviews from a year or two ago. Includes two drinks consisting of one rum and coke and one large glass of beer. Be careful as at least one bartender will try to take extra coupons off you if they sense you are a newbie. A la carte drinks around 200PHP so it’s not bad once you are on your own bill.
The club is technically split level but unless you are partying with a large group of friends and have a booth, you are likely to stick to a 50 foot by 20 foot arc between the stage and the nearby rows of standing tables that eat up what the original dance floor was meant to be.
Booths are from 10,000 PHP to 20,000 PHP and sit from 6 to 12 but there is standing room nearby.
Crowd doesn’t get started until after midnight.
Champagne bottles are about USD 100, or 5000PHP and you get a little performance of dancers with glow sticks for that. Similar for bottles of cognac or whisky.
Smoking on the terrace but I saw guys smoking in the club and no one seemed to complain.
DJs of course differ but you can count on some EDM at least. For whatever reason, there wasn’t a lot of dancing that night, just folks jumping up and down. You would have thought at least there would be some shuffle given the tight space but no.
Filipinos are well behaved and not all foreigners were bad, but I was disappointed that all of the bad behavior I witnessed was by the English, French, Japanese, Chinese, or Indian expats. But for the most part, a heavy security presence keeps things from getting out of hand but you will absolutely get bumped, pushed, knocked into, stepped on, and possibly spilled on if you are anywhere near the stage.
Expect the occassional gratuitous spending spree. One booth ordered 50 bottles of champagne, which necessitated the entire staff walking down each carrying one bottle. And locked up the dancing girls for the rest of the night. It’s not that much in cost when you think about what an extravagant night would be elsewhere and to the credit of the crowd, most folks seemed to care less after the initial spectacle.
Toilets are reasonably clean for what this is and there is even security in the loo.
I have heard there are better clubs but I have only been to one other and it was far smaller than this and more expensive.
I would probably go back but I definitely felt there could be better options.

Club amenities are not that new and the songs played by the DJ was lame. Overpriced tables. Crowds are mostly teens and College student. There's plenty or cool pub or night club in Manila with great music and a comfortable seats.

Just got back from Revel, extreme annoyed. A group of my friends and I went into Revel tonight (on a Wednesday evening past 1), we bought a table for 8k which can be used as consumable on drinks and food. We purchased a bottle of alcohol for 4K with a couple plates of appetizers and coke. It totalled to a little over 5k. Fast forward to 1hr. We finished our food and bottle, a couple of us went next door to Valkyrie (which is under the same company, The Palace) for less than 10 min to check it out while the rest went into the dance floor at Revel, leaving our table empty for a short while. when we came back we ordered another bottle thinking we still had 3k consumable left. Upon leaving, our server then presented us with a 4K bill for the second bottle we ordered. I'd asked the server for the receipt knowing fully well we still had credit for our table. The receipt then had another bottle we never ordered on it. I'd asked the server what it was because we never ordered it. It was a bottle of alcohol none of us ever drank. Confused, I wanted to know what it was. The server said it was "bottle gift" looking even more confused I asked him what the heck a bottle gift was. I get no answer. To avoid any conflict my friends paid for the 4K extra they charged us. when I went to ask again what it was and if they charged us an extra bottle I wanted to atleast get the bottle to get what we paid for. The manager along with the server just laughed as if I couldn't comprehend the situation. I would have preferred a much more professional approach to solving this confusion. This is a well established and a "high end" night club, I think it should live up to its reputation. Scamming guests like this will get no business anywhere. Just hoping karma will get them.
In theory. I think that the manager thought we were not coming back, knowing we still had a 3k credit for our table he then randomly charged us a random bottle of alcohol that totalled to the exact amount of credit we had to forfeit it.
Overall, this club is not as great. music was average, sounded like the Dj is playing music off Spotify. The club looks nice and posh. Great sound system and ambiance. But that's about it.

As a French tourist, I am totally dismayed!!!! Indeed, the bouncer pushes us back because I am wearing a shorts. For information, I remeber you outside the temperature is 28 degrees celsius. Moreover, a girl who's wearing a mini skirt or a mini shorts can go inside... But a boy can't!!! Somebody could explain me the difference?!?!?! For me this is Just clothing discrimination and sexism.

When asked about the best clubs in Manila I kept hearing Valkyrie 9 out of 10 times from people. But it was quite a disappointment. The pros - it's a really grand club and the ambiance is exhilarating. It's is easily accessible from Makati area. The crowd is younger compared to other places in Makati. I heard they get good DJs (not when I went there) The cons - where do I start.. first of all.. where is the dance floor? The area is filled with tables. They really are trying hard to maximize the revenues. Up until 5 feet of the DJ deck are standing tables and there is no space to dance. And when you actually try to, you end up elbowing others drinking glasses and sometimes the standing tables which is even worse. And the music, i know it depends on the DJ but the beat drops are so bad and it doesn't drop when the crowd expects it. It was funny seeing people jumping to sync with the beats but it drops few seconds later. Also the crowd seems to have fun but not many people are grooving. It's kind of a dull experience compared to other famous clubs in south east Asia. The entrance if not on guest list is like 1000p which is fine considering it offers 2 drinks. The paid drinks at the bar are not too expensive compared to other countries so I was ok with that. It's attached to another pool club which is good so you can switch on your mood. However you can't go between clubs without finishing your drink or leaving your glass. So you have to buy drinks in these clubs separately. The smoking area is literally a 6 by 8 feet area at the pool club with around 50 people wanting to smoke at anytime in that small space. Don't be surprised if someone burnt you with their cigarette by mistake. They are very strict and you have to smoke not one foot out of that area. Super dumb to be honest. There are a lot of bouncers which is good for security but I have seen them discriminate people and not allow a few to even record videos from a particular area. Apparently they are VIP zones. But what pissed me off the most is that I was told to leave my cap at the reception. I asked them that I saw people get in wearing caps and they said that it's allowed only if I take a VIP room. What? It's doesn't make any sense. What has paying extra gotta do with wearing a cap? Anyway I danced my heart off even if most people aren't and I enjoyed the night with the few people that actually came here to dance. However with too many rules and prying eyes at every instance I wonder why people pay so much to give up their freedom to party. There are so many better clubs in Manila. I wouldn't go again and it's not at all worth the hype.

It was supposed to a night of fun when we book a premium table. Php30k was paid in advance for purchase of drinks which guests can deduct against the credit value. Unfortunately, the server and duty manager did not give any indication that the limit has been used up and continue to serve mineral water, mixers without guests asking... All these adds up and eventually after the host left thinking all bills have been settled, the guests were asked to pay the balance! For someone who's willing to pay for a premium table, they are definitely going to be stingy over small sums. A simple note to the host that the limit has been used up would have saved a lot of embarrassment. So folks, if you want to have good clubbing experience, stay sober to such unscrupulous practice!
Otherwise, the music and ambience are good!

Valkyrie is supposedly the best nightclub in the Philippines, so our expectations were high. We arrived early around 11PM. The cashiers did not know which DJ was playing. The first impression inside was that the layout was maximized to get revenue from reserved tables -- they even have tables where the dance floor is supposed to be! We payed Ph1000 for a club without dance floor. Bottle service was annoying like in Las Vegas, with flares attached to the bottles - this added to the bad smell from lots of people smoking inside the club.
When we ordered some lemon drops, we got vodka with sprite instead - what's up with the bartenders?
Around 1AM still nobody was dancing, although the club was geting crowded. We gave up, went back to our hotel and took a shower to get off the stink from the cigarettes. Maybe instead of trying to copy Las Vegas clubs, they should try to copy European clubs where people actually dance and have fun.

My friends & I went to Valkyrie to have a good time only to be greatly disappointed. Super SLOW service! Food is te pits & overly priced & tastes Blech! We got their tempura chicken fingers which was too oily. Tasted bland! The pizza had more cheese in it than the other ingredients. you can count the meat in it. We were cheated out of our pizza. the salmon sliders was a rip off too. you had to wear magnifying glasses to recognize the filling. More bun than salmon. Orders were so slow & took too long. we also chanced upon a group who may be into drugs judging from the way they were acting. Couple of rich kids with highly placed parents with deep pockets. No they weren't wasted. One would know if they were high on alcohol. But it was something else. And the staff just looked the other way. This place was in the news before where the authorities/gov't found some patrons in possession of the drug ecstacy. So we left the place immediately before it got raided.

Hi Sam,
Not necessarily. You can still come in and enjoy Xylo even without a table. You can either pay the cover which includes two drinks already or be on the guest list for waived entrance fee.. Either way for sure you will have a great experience in Xylo.

Usually you can get a table if you commit a certain spend. The amount itself varies depending on whether it is weekday or a weekend.
