Beautiful beach at the tip of Bowentown Peninsula, where you can see Matakana Island and Katikati Region close in front of you. Quiet water, good for swimming or water sports, or just to sit and strolling along the sandy beach. At the high ground reserve...More

The bay is quite shallow so very safe with young children. Great for kids with kayaks or inflatable boats. Lots of shade trees and several picnic tables. Freedom camping allowed and toilets in the area. This bay is a real gem!

A great reserve with walks and a variety of terrain. Anzac Bay is a lovely safe beach, sandy and great to swim in or fish off to relax.

The highlight for us here was walking up the hills to see the views of the surrounding areas. You can see up the coast to Waihi Beach and Bowentown and across to Mt Manganui. It is a steep walk but well worth it.
