Most Mt. Etna excursions stop at the Silvestri Craters on the lava-covered slopes, but with this exclusive tour you can reach the top of Europe’s highest active volcano with a volcanologist guide. Take a cable car and off-road vehicle to Torre del Filosofo and then continue on foot about a mile (2 kilometers) to the summit craters. Learn about the volcano’s history from your guide and enjoy sweeping views over the coastline.

I am really proud of people that involved in this place creation/management. This sort of park/museum is an innovation that needs to be comprehended and appreciated. It is quite pleasing! My colleague and I found workers patient and willing with us. The restaurant there is so lovely: typical tasty Sicilian food with the nicest staff in the town. I have to say thank you to the owner, because he had the idea of creating a modern but old Motel at the same time using his parents'house. In my opinion, a tour guide that explains the real symbol of the place is the only thing that is missing. Good job!

I have been asked to pay 14 euros to see ... I do not know what. It is sad. Very sad. I compliment for the marketing manager. I have no words. I am very upset. To pay for this is an intellectual insult!

We made a special trip here from Agrigento based on an interesting sounding review in a popular travel guide book. It was difficult to find in dreary area of an unimpressive town and unfortunately was a complete waste of time and money. Once found the entrance seems promising for about five seconds then slowly you realize there is little here to see or do. No art to contemplate or buy. No artists or artisans or anything of significance for sale. The person at the front described three confusing art installations we could see for a cost of approx. €8/e. Yes, each installation with a separate fee. We saw one and it was completely mind numbing and out of context to why a tourist in Sicily would travel to “an artistic community.” I wish I was properly informed about what I’d find here so I would have spent my precious evening in Sicily elsewhere.
