Caution: Do not go on Mondays as many sites are closed. Wear good walking shoes. This is a mountainous area! There is a lot to see in this lovely quaint towne. Unfortunately, we chose to travel there on a Monday and many places were closed.

Very nice town, very similar to other “Pueblos Mágicos” in Mexico, but each of them have something unique. I loved this place: small, surrounded by mountains, colored and traditional houses, uneven terrain and many pet-friendly restaurants. It is a very good option to be walking...More

We didn’t know how beautiful this little town is, otherwise we would have allotted more time for it on our visit. Well taken care of and just lovely. Take time to visit the Dificultad Mine which is just at the entrance to the town. There...More

We took a afternoon trip here. The crispness and cleanliness was a nice surprise. We took the bus tour at night. Cold, but beautiful! The guides tell the history with wit. I’m not sure if it’s offered in English. $50 was worth it! Make sure...More

Small town in the mountains full of steep cobbled streets and colored houses. At more than 2,600 metres, the Real is one of the highest towns in Mexico, the weather can be wet and cold so bringing a light jacket might be a good idea....More

This miner town is very beautiful, you can visit the English cemetery and the market, try the "pastes" which are like English pasty, but filled with delicious things.
