Santuario dei Piloni (or the sanctuary of pillars) gets its name from the sanctuary with 13 chapels in which there are plaster figures composing religious scenes. The chapels lead to the highest point of the hill where you can admire nice views and then if you go down on one of the sides there is a secret place that has been made by the 80-year old man who spends in the park most of the time and actually makes it that nice! He plants flowers and makes walking paths. He does a lot of work and the park is quite popular among joggers and people who like to stroll around. This lovely place was shown to us by one of the locals, Luca Aloi, a wonderful person and truffle hunter. We had an absolutely fabulous time here. If you have time, stop by here!
