It is a very beautiful place to visit. Great Tour guides. My guide Willy did a great job 👍. They follow a very different system of living which is very interesting to know about. Overall Great experience 😃.

    Family's Favorite Destination!
Amish Country in Lancaster, PA is one of our favorite travel destinations. Our family's travel tradition is visiting this region. There's acres and acres of farm land which have been owned by Amish families for many generations. My favorite part of visiting is looking at all of the land and farms from a view. I definitely recommend a visit. It's a three hour drive from NYC. Bring the kids, this area caters to families.

    Day out in Amish country
Excellent day out. Met driver central Philly, luckily only one other couple on day tour with friend and I. Excellent driver explained history of Amish and everything as we went. Lunch at local restaurant which had Amish foods and also took us to Amish pretzel shop. Overall very interesting and nice day in the countryside.

TripAdvisor charged me twice the excursion and didn’t want to refund $696.00 for the double charge.

I enjoyed my visit to the Amish country. I was part of a tour. We got to go to the school house and learn how they were taught. Also went to a home. Very interesting

Visiting the Amish country which is spread out throughout Lancaster County. When you visit the Amish owned stores, farms, and eateries, you will experience hospitality and service. The Amish will engage you in conversation and sincerely show gratitude for your business. Come here to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of every day life.

We just drove everywhere exploring. It’s a beautiful place. Such a simple life. The stories on the Amish are pretty fascinating.

The simple life has some characteristics we could all learn from it. Learned a lot here about their tradition and German-American culture. Friendly people with good local businesses and food. It’s fun to see them riding their scooters and driving their buggies. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with them.

We all needed some fresh air and a stress free, relaxing activity. The Amish are an amazing group of people who could teach the rest of us a thing or two about what it really means to live. If it wasn’t for my love of comfort, I would be tempted to adopt this lifestyle 😂. Worth your while!

Spent 3 days in and around Lancaster just enjoying the sights and fresh air. Not much to do, other than visiting different farms, learning about a much more slow paced/ hard working comunity. Visited 4 farms and stop at many of the little stand by the side of the road.We tasted everything from cheese to raw milk( that was different) and very nice presserves. For the most part we just enjoyed the drive by the beautiful, well-kept lawns and homes. Most amish people we can in contact, including serveral driving buggies, will politely raise their hand to greet us ( we were told by some folks we had dinner that " the locals wern't friendly. Totally the contrary). My 8 year old really like the chnace to see and pet baby goats, cows and feeding a big old Tom Turkey. We also visited the Dutch Wonderland amusement park . Right off the town of Columbia near HWY 30 we drove around pulling over the side to enjoy the beautiful Susquehanna river. I am not sure if I will drive all the way from North Carolina just for that, but we were around the area so it was worth stopping.
