This area is pretty nice to discover, but that requires you to go through the nature trail going around the area. There are interesting information boards along the way telling about the area's history. Nice landscapes, varying terrain and some old ruins to be seen....More

The Bomarsund fortress spans a large area and requires quite a bit of walking. But, if the weather is nice then it is really a nice experience.

These ruined forts are fascinating to see and to imagine the massive structure when it was finished and standing. Up the road (about a 1km walk that is not on the flat) you can find Notvikstornet fort.

This is an easy to reach place quite accessible by road.There is no entry charge and is free to access by anyone. It is nicely explored by food though quite extensive. Overall a nice experience
