Great building with an Arab influence makes it on the the Sintra attractions not to miss. Unfortunately one can not visit the interior but the outside is pretty amazing.
Sintra is a lovely, quaint town. There were many shops around. We went with a tour group and had no time to visit the palaces. We tried some pastries and the 1 Euro liquor in a chocolate cup. Would come again to visit the palaces...
Visited Sintra as part of excursion to the area. Unfortunately so its seems did everyone else. Town full of tourism shops, cafes and eating places. Traffic and tourists rather mar its charm.
