Taal Lake Yacht Club's goal is to create environmental awareness through environmentally friendly sports. We run Taal Volcano trips and treks, and have sailboat and kayak rentals for both members and non members. We run Regattas and have boat storage for members. Weddings, Birthdays, Corporate events are by special arrangement. Accommodation can be arranged but for most, we are a daytrip from Manila. We (usually) have free wifi. We are pet friendly- as long as your pet is too.

We just went there to kayak. This facility should be shut down for negligence of their guests' safety. They wouldn't stop you nor warn you if a thunderstorm was coming. A foreigner from a next door resort screamed at us to go back because a thunderstorm was coming. When we were parking our kayak, our supposed guide/guy assigned to help... More

I really have to laugh pathetically at this. The "foreign guy next door" was me, the manager. We rent kayaks by the day. We do expect kayakers to know what they are doing when they rent from us. Our rates are for kayak rental not for personalized instruction, unless people ask for it. We do have a rescue service, and... More

My wife and I spent drove out to the Yacht Club to hike/rode to view the volcano. Everything about our experience was great including having a great guide in RJ. I have done many trips involving a guide including white water rafting and zip lining. I have always found that a good guide is crucial to having a great time.... More

we arrived very late and we forgot to notify the caretaker about it...theres no one there and we are welcomed by huge dogs haha (its our fault though. You have to inform them if you will be arriving beyond 5pm) It's a long story how we got inside. Nevertheless, we really had a great time in this place. We met... More

We opted for the Secret Trail as it brings you into the actual crater as opposed to the other tail that only has views from uptop. The tour started with seaweed wrapped around the propeller of the boat, but were off after that getting an occasional spray of water in the face. It was all in good fun and laughter.... More

Based on previous reviews here and the promise on the website, we zeroed in on TLYC to go on a hike to Taal Volcano Crater. Yes, it indeed was the most safe option if you plan to visit Taal Volcano. They even provide the life saving jackets on the boat (unlike other operators). The booking was hassle free and they... More

Spent the day trip to a memorable Taal Volcano with Taal Lake Yacht Club! With well trained and skilled staff to guide you throughout is all you need for a smooth trip. Facilities have some opportunities but when in comes to water sports then this is definitely a place for you!

Should I visit Taal Lake again, I will definitely do it with TLYC. The fun adventure starts in Tagaytay City, trying to get to Talisay Batangas via trikes passing through the ziggy-zaggy Tagaytay-Talisay Road. When we arrived at night time at the TLYC, our group was delighted with the exclusivity of the place. There were only us and the caretaker.... More

We took the secret trail to the volcano with our guide Arjay. The guide was a nice chatty guy, who spoke good English. The volcano itself is beautiful. With the secret trail you can get right up to the crater-lake inside the island and we went for a swim! The views are great. You can take a horse, but it's... More

I have been using TLYC twice as my travel organizer to visit tall volcano crater. Very accommodating and hassle free reservation. Once you made a reservation, just call them when you reach STAR toll way and they will prepare the boat and the tour guide for you.
