Wanted to have some day break from Manila... First the trip can last forever with the bad traffic. Hardly 100km will take you 4 hours... The beach itself is nothing to enjoy.. dirty and filthy... also all the hotels are mostly for family gathering bringing their own food and noise from the city... Positive review will only be posted by locals...…

It was love at first sight for me when I first stepped into this place early in February. So I went back to enjoy the sun and the sea. Very nice for a quick get-away from the city — fine sand, very clean beach, cool breeze. I love that it is exclusive for lot owners and residents and their guests, that controls the crowd even on peak season such as long weekends or holidays. LandCo is doing a great job on this! 👍🏼 The facilities for shower is quite limited though and the flow of water is not strong enough. I had to queue for more than 30 mins to have my turn. Other than this, i will still highly recommend this place. Will surely come back for more.…

Playa Laiya is a pretty place with beautiful sunset, close by to numerous resorts. You can rent a Cabbana, of any size. We rented a tent for the night, and pitched it on the beach. The food they serve at the restaurant is fresh and good, plus many water sports are available - snorkeling, banana boat, island hopping etc. The water is calm and not so deep at the shores, so safe for kids too. Vendors walk by the shore to sell chicharon all day and all night. Of all the relaxing things, the most relaxing for me was the massage in the open, by the sea. If you are endorsed by a lot owner, you are eligible for discounts on the already afforable prices. It is a great place for family, friends and even colleagues for activities like team building.…

It's only a short holiday break for a weekend but it was worthwhile spending time in this place. It a best to book a hotel or even private room in advance as we didn't do this considering only one night. So wwe ended up with a hotel a little like 2 km away from Playa Laiya for my fiancé, son and myself for about 7000 pesos. Simple room withoit breakfast !! However the place is a beautiful place to enjoy either for swimming, eating or just relaxing or having a beach party with friends. We ended up with buying a lot over there as we really liked it ! …

We held our first company outing here last March 2017. Our company rented it privately for the day so the place was very serene and peaceful. The pool is very beautiful which is my favorite. Beach water is somewhat unclear, maybe because of the season though I did not swim. The view is awesome too and the food that was served was delicious. Activities you can do includes banana boat, flying fish, and island hopping. There are some vendors too selling keychains, and other stuff. Henna is also available when we were there. Location is roughly 3 hours from Manila. Overall, it is a beautiful beach resort.…
