Our 12 year son wanted to check out the skate park that he had found online in Pescadero while we were staying at the Cerritos Surf Colony just up the road. What we found when we arrived was an immaculate skat park with lots of gorgeous mature trees and flowering shrubs to help shade the kids from the heat of the day. We were also surprised by how many kids were there and everyone was super friendly. The bowl is HUGE and our son spent a couple of hours there after making some new friends. It was a very cool find!

I don't skate but my girlfriend and I dropped by last night to have a safety meeting with the locals. They were still cleaning up after a major rain storm but everyone was super positive and chill. When I was first at the park 6 years ago it was shut down so they have done a great job to get it back up and running. Jose is the new manager and they teach local kids and I am sure appreciate any donated gear and yes they ask for donations. This is not a government funded skate park. Nothing is free and the park is on private property. If you are a gringo that can afford to travel to Mexico then you can make a donation. Bring a positive attitude and respecto and no problemos.
Gracias a todos :-)

Skating here is gnarly. The locals are super cool and kind. Some may be asked for an entrance fee or donation, but if you are kind and down to skate this fee can be easily waived.
I usually bring some lightly used decks, wheels, trucks, hardware, and apparel to donate to the local kids. Although donations like this are not mandatory ANY kindness from outsiders is extremely appreciated and rewarded with all access camping and skating.
The park is hit by hurricanes annually and needs constant upkeep. This is not free for the locals and any help is always needed and appreciated. Its not a public park, it is private.
Jose has been skating and representing Pescadero Skate Park since he was a grom. Now he is the caretaker of the park. He is super kind and treats respect with respect. Know the code and you will treated in this Skaters Paradise!
Skate and Enjoy! Peace!
* Note if the surf is up at Cerritos Beach the Park may be closed.*

I took my son a few times. First time was great. Next time we went, there were some of the locals there. They tried to tell me that it was $500 pesos per person to enter. Haven't tried to go back since. My son took his skateboard back to canada because he had no place to skate in pescadero. As far as I can tell, no one is in charge of the park. No problem paying something for the care of the park, but not to just go in some random guys pocket.

This is a vert bowl and gnarly park! Not really for beginners. Created by Airspeed, it is rough in spots and fast. Really fast on the clam and tight. It sits on this property with a house on it. There are hand painted signs that say private property and $10usd. The first day the guy who lives there came and talked to us for a long time and was chill. He did not ask for money. The second day he came out and was totally different and said we owed $10usd per session and person. We got into our car and left without paying. He did not fund the park so he is ripping tourists! Do not pay! When you turn off the highway by the surf camp go left on dirt road away from surf camp and you will see it on your left side of road fenced in with signs on fence.

My son has been begging to go to this skate park. I did not expect much with a skate park tucked away in Pescadero. It is awesome.
We took 6 boys there for my son's birthday. The boys had a blast. There is enough here for every skill level.
They also provide pads, helmets, and even boards.
The guys there were super friendly and helpful and spoke great english. Also, IT IS FREE
