Great to find well kept real ales in the area. We didn’t really know how to order but this was soon explained. Some in our party thoroughly enjoyed the weirdly fruity “ciders”. The bitters were excellent and well kept. Service was fast. It is nice...More

Met friendly for drinks before eating locally. Very warm and friendly atmosphere with a fantastic selection of real ales. Small premises could be a problem at times perhaps.

Great, friendly, little bar at the corner of St Marys Lane and Sunnyside Gardens. On the day i visited i found the regulars and staff very friendly and was offered an excellent choice of real Ales from the cask ie all on gravity - lovely!...More
