dropped by the cave on our first island hopping...it is a small cave but I can't believe our boat can fit inside. You hear the bats coming in/out of the cave. Nice place to stop for a photo-op.

On your island hoping trip you must set aside a good amount of time to enjoy your stop here
If you boat is small enough at high tide can actually enter the cave
If not you get out and swim or walk depending on the tide
Lots of small fruit bats are hanging from the ceiling
The water is so cool and refreshing
The cave has two entrances so we swan all the way around and back into he cool waters to relax and escape the hot sun outside
Well worth the stop and thanks to our tour guide Krystine from Zemkamps chalet

Buho Ramirez Cave is also called Baras Cave. It is one of our itineraries in the island hopping tour. During low tide, a small boat can dock inside the cave. For me, it is a mini underground river (like that of Palawan's famous undeground river), which is home to many fruit bats. The rock formations inside the cave with the roofed stalagmites and stalactites rocks are nice attractions inside. The water inside the cave is not too shallow or deep and you can take a dip on its cool clear water. It also has two entrances inside the cave which is a delight among tourists.
