Former important part of Hungary's defense system west to Small Carpathians now in ruins. Easy to access by car. No guided tours, you can come whenever you want, there is system of the guide signs, describing the castle and its history pretty well. Very nice place.

Easy accessable and nice ruin with perfect views in all directions. Compared with other ruins in the area, this one is well preserved/restored.

I seek out these small town castle ruins in my travels. Some are over restored, some become touristy. This one was above the town, a place where locals might take a local short hike and clear their head. There wasn't anyone but myself at the top! Incredible views, and not over restored. The town should be proud of the monument they are preserving. …

This place is really nice and away from the tourist track. It takes a little to get there but is definently worth a visit. The view over the valley is amazing but be sure to go there on a nice day since the wind can be quite cold on the top.
