This ganapti is inside caves.very serene place.there are 350 steps to reach to the temple.Girijatmaj Temple is considered one of the ganapati of asthavinayak.

The temple is one of the eight Asht Vinayak temples.Need to climb about 500 stairs.Palenquins available for elderly or handicapped.Though entry ticket is charged by ASCI the place is not maintained Moneys and monkey potty all around.Do not carry any eatables since monkeys may attack

About 100km from Pune. You have to stair up 340 stairs. Palki for elderly available for 700 rupees. Adequate parking (20 rupees), toilet facility. The caves have Buddhist stupa in one, with echo. We enjoyed. Then meditated briefly in the adjacent cave with swembhu Ganpati...More

Shri Girijatmaj Temple is in a Lenyadri Cave........and lots of stairs climbing is there but 'baggi' process is available....... and after reaching temple u may fell lots of positive energy and good views from top
