Canibad is actually a sea by the foot of the mountains. So when you get there, you will see the vastness of the sea on top of a hill while coconut trees and mountains greet you welcome to Canibad! You’ll have to go down a very steep trail before reaching the white sand and the cool blue waters of the beach. The coastline is just about two kilometers with very fine white sand, pebbles and some big pile of rocks on its edges.
It is one of the beach resorts that is less developed, so tourists and guests should not expect to see class restaurants and air-conditioned rooms. For those who want to stay overnight at the beach, it is advisable to bring a tent with you, but cottages are also available for around P200 pesos per night. Since there is no restaurants in the area, cooking your own food in designated areas is a good idea.

All or most of the beaches in Samal are privately own with no public access. This one is accessible with 20 peso fee to enter the premises. The water is be and the beach is coral based with sand
Not many people there so enjoy the swim. A bit far to get there. If you decide to stay the resort has basic type of rooms

Canibad is not a crowded beach resort and a place to unwind. The water is crystal clear and white sand beach. They have a popular big rock that beach goers climb and jump directly on the water.

After a two kilometer 15min ferry ride from Mindanao's premiere city-Davao, our trek to Canibad took almost an hour from the pier. But it was very rewarding. The waters are crystal clear and you have a commanding view of the sun rising from the East.

Canibad beach is a lovely beach with only a few local people around. There are not many tourists what we enjoyed so much.
If you ever go to Samal Island pay a visit to Canibad Beach.

I am loving this place, the white sand and the rock formation on the side where you can do a cliff jumping, very nice. The waves at that time is kinda cool due to the coming typhoon but nevertheless, it was a very nice and good place. Though one thing I dont like much is the people who offers table rental which is kinda expensive (Php100) for a very small table. Also you need to pay for another Php100 for the parking. Or maybe I went to a place that doesnt offer this. But anyhow its a very nice place.

Canibad has always been a good place for trekkers and mountaineers. From the Sta. Ana wharf in Davao City,it took us almost 3 hrs. of boat ride just to get there. It has always been in my bucket list.. And finally for just P550.00, I was able to go there plus went to the Vanishing Island for the third time..Canibad is not a crowded place, I've felt that I can explore alone with less disturbances. The water is so clear and on the other side of the beach, the sand is very fine and the view is so fantastic.. Gotta try the diving spot there along the cliff. Its a nice place to climb and to relax..

Going in Canibad beach is not an easy thing. From Penaplata, a 30 minute butt-whipping ride thru habal-habal will take you to the "secret paradise". The place is not crowded and not many people are here maybe because of location and the beachsand is not exactly fine but pebbles and rocks. But being me as nature-lover, this is a great place. I enjoyed its virgin state, clear water and peaceful place. There's a cliff nearby where you could dive but only recommended during high-tide. The old caretaker however required us 10php each for maintenance. This is where you could snorkel if you have the kits with you, but I tell you you won't need it because you will see coral reefs very clear because of its clear water. We rented boat for 100php per hour and we enjoyed that much. The beach is not that appealing for beach lovers, but nature lovers must not surely miss this place.
