In order to see the true splendor of the hills, you need to get to the elevation where you can look over them. I have actually been two times. I took a visiting friend after I have already been.

We was visiting the ATV adventure park at the feet’s of chocolate hills. It was muddy, slippery, and f as fantastic fun :-) I was just a big smile for Long 30 minutes drive. As a couple we took the ATV buggy, and it is easier and more fun to handle, you get more speed and dit safer. I was also trying the ATV, it’s fun too but the handle bars gets slippery and the footrest also if the weather is wet and muddy tracks. But fun, very fun!! Also the tour is guided by a local driver which is needed , he was excellent and took good funny pictures:-) In general, the trip to Bohol was great!! Highly recommended:-)

We traveled to Bohol with the main purpose of seeing the chocolate hills. I loved driving through the island, which is beautiful, clean and green, to see the Hills. It’s fun to take the stairs up to the top and see the hills around you. We stayed for sunset which was beautiful - I assume the sunrise would be just as nice. There is a small fee to get in. It was one of the few places in the Philippines where you could buy local souvenirs, hand made wooden magnets, etc. If you’re in Bohol - definitely great to see.

It was a fun and memorable trip with family. This place is quite far from Tagbilaran City. We took a courtryside tour rented a car for a day trip. On the way there was raining hard but when we got to Carmen the rain stop and Mr Sunshine came. Before going on top, climbing 250 plus step must be taken. It will be worth it, the views are fantastic. Little note alot of foreign and local tourist will be there at peak time. Local restaurant is available for a refreshing foods and drinks.
