Chopta is really one of awesome place to see and experience surrounded by Snow Peak Mountains Scenic landscapes lovely fauna and flora endeminic that region if your treking enthusits one can undertake Tungnath Trek its just paradise on Earth

Base point to start track to highest Shiva temple of the world. Very nice serenity at this place. Quite fresh air. Moderate track. Good for beginners as well.

You can call it treasure of lush green meadows and landscapes. You can feel the real nature here. The main sources of electricity in Chopta valley is Solar System. You have many options to stay in camps or tents but good hotels are not available....More

Surounded by lush green forest and medows along with the snowy chakumba range.. Chopta should not be missed if you love exploring the nature.. It freezing cold in the winter season but i would say it is the best season to visit.

Chopta itself there is no decent accomodation. You may get camps etc which are not comfortable. I If camping is your thing, you will get enough camping options in and around chopta. Decent accomodation you will get at... More
