This ancestral house belongs to one of the famous families of Taal, Batangas. It is an interesting house because the house is of the 19th century Bahay na Bato but its contents span three centuries because of the memorabilia of Ambassador Raul and his wife Marietta Goco, both known as public officials. Pio, their son, brings alive the stories of Taal, its history, and of the house. A buffet of traditional Taal dishes comes with the visit of the house. There is also a guided tour of 2 museums and 2 churches and a treat of halo halo.

When we came, we were treated to a storytelling of the rich history and culture of this site. The owner of the place was so hospitable and made me feel extremely welcome. I'd definitely come back here again :)

...there is family members still actively residing in the home and usage must include some respect towards their privacy...the second floor was bright airy with all the classic capiz windows..great insight on a prominent Filipino-Chinese family of the area...

Entrance fee is 80 pesos . We would like to thank Mr Pio Goco for the enlightening tour of his museum. We appreciate his lecture on us about the history of Goco 's family . He is so accomodating to us.
