A wonderful beach, safe for children within easy reach of the village. With lovely views across to Karatane and if you're lucky, the sight of several horses on one vehicle exercising on the beautiful sandy beach

This Beach is one of Otago's best kept secrets. Its a large bay with wonderful safe swimming. Great walk from Matanaka end to Karitane. Historical buildings at top of hill well worth the look.
