Holiday cottage of character with stones of tufa and a well kept decoration, in the heart of wine growers village and closed to the vineyard of the Cateau de Chaintres. You can visit nearby the Biopark zoo, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, troglodyte villages,... I have been visiting the area for over 25 years and this is a vineyard that I visited some time ago and decided to revisit recently, partly down to them selling half bottles. I know... But sometimes, being more health conscious, it's good to limit to a half bottle. Anyway I know this vineyard to be of good repute, you can see recent hachettes for that and today's tasting satisfied. There is an expensive oaked red and a white but i think there standard champigny and vielles vignes are great. Will call again but won't leave it so long between trips next time.
