A wonderful place to visit, just a pity about the litter. This municipality is sitting on a tourism goldmine but just don't seem to care. For National Heritage sites steeped in history the upkeep from the municipality leaves a lot to be desired.

Unsafe area, unable to access viewing point. Totally overgrown and spoiled by litter. A waste of time

Interesting spot but the litter is appalling. Sadly a feature of the North West Towns we passed through. North and Western Cape much cleaner and well looked after. Up your game North West Province!

Not visible from the road, no signs - only by chance did we see something saying "Og". We looked closer and saw that the other "O" from "Oog" was missing. Boards warning "High Crime Area" prevented us from even stopping! Come on Kuruman - you...More

The Eye of Kuruman is on all the "To Do"lists when visiting Kuruman. Sadly the spot has not been well maintained by the responsible authorities, especially the area to park and the entrance to the spot.

Don't wast your time visiting to avoid being disappointed. The level of neglect is sickening as is the proliferation of prostitutes and drug users / pushers... Rather do yourself a favour and avoid it altogether...

It cost us R28 to get in, the water is absolutely clear and you can see the fish as clear as day. This is the largest natural spring in the Southern Hemisphere.

The place is filthy with booze bottles and litter. It's also not safe. The General area leaves one feeling vulnerable and on guard. Lots of drunk people all over the place. The people are rude and it feels like prison.

The lake/park is not kept and the entire town is strewn with plastic, bottles and other trash. Kuruman needs a good clean up.
