Recently traveled on the Kennet & Avon horse drawn barge and what a amazing time we had with Steve and his crew who where warm and friendly and full of information and stories along our journey, we was served with delicious home made cake tea and coffee there was also a bar on board for that extra treat. The barge was pulled by a wonderful shire horse called Monty who loved strong mints, the peace and quite in the fantastic English Berkshire rolling hills countryside is great in this day of rush,rush. Well done to Steve and his team who made a wonderful time spent on the Kennet and Avon canal.…

I never wanted the trip to end. Monty the horse was so loved and there was an incredible bond between him and Steve.Monty was not pulling hard and infact rather enjoyed eating the grass, head butting Steve or eating carrots. The trip is such good value, with all the guys working there being so kind, interested in talking to you and making sure you had a good time. I would suggest not talking much and just listening to nature. …

We were fourteen cousins having a get together, some of us from Australia not having seen each other for over 60 years. We were so pleased we chose Kennet Horse Boat Company. The pace was slow. The staff were friendly and informative. Thank you Drummer and Steve for a very memorable experience.…

I booked online and spoke to very helpful staff before the visit to pay in advance. The trip was lovely and the staff onboard were very helpful. It was a lovely way to travel the canal and lovely tea and cake. We loved the slow pace of the trip and found it a very lovely way to spend the afternoon.…

A very enjoyable day out horse was gorgeous so friendly and well behaved all the staff were friendly on the barge and entertaining tea and cake was delicious would love to return again so very peaceful along the canal. We were looked after very well. Well worth the trip
