After reading the reviews this place really was a positive surprise! We took a public bus from Boquete (2 dollars) which left us to a junction from where it was a nice 45-60 minute walk to the springs. The pools were really natural, the water...More

The location is nice. There is a river that you can access without paying the $2 fee. The thermal springs consist of three small pools. The two of them seem to be completely artificial as the water is guided there by pipes. The upper one...More

I was staying in Boquete and the hotel owner told me about the hot springs in Caldera village. There is a minibus that is going daily to Caldera on each hour as I remember and it stops on the road where you come out and...More

This was the hot springs that you can drive to. The spring is a boulder lined pool and sits apart from a dwelling that offers showers and changing rooms. On this date, the water was lukewarm and it was pretty busy as it was Sunday....More

The hot springs were not well marked. We had a rental sedan that nearly did not make it down the rough, rocky dirt road. But we persisted. We parked before the bridge over the river, because once across it, there was no parking area and...More

We inquired about a tour in town but after finding out we would only have 30 minutes in the hot springs with a cost of $45-90 (with or without a guide) we decided to go on our own. We jumped on a bus to Caldera...More

We made the hike in from the road, it’s a long ways in from the main paved road. I would recommend not doing it in the heat of the day. But it is a nice little hot spring to relax in.

Starting with the positive side: the actual hotsprings are natural, very comfortable and have clean water. There's a river to cool down. The negatives : a lot of garbage around the hot springs, including broken glass. Yikes. The two pools are tiny and have space...More

Made the mistake of trying to get here in a small rental car. Definitely need an SUV Only one pool and no services. $5 per person. Not really worth the long difficult drive.

Rustic natural hot springs. We took a dip in the hottest pools first then the second hottest and finally a dip in the cold river. It was therapeutic.

Not very close, about 1/2 mile. Bring up the springs on google maps satellite view. The hydro canal is the dark line and after the canal you need a good 4wd. then you get to a bare spot where people park but it is a good... More

Yes you could hike with your dogs but bring a leash as the people who manage the springs have many animals, ducks, chickens etc.
