We have been going there for years (we are from Adelaide), our son loved the secluded beach area and play areas and we love the vibe, shopping and the restaurants over looking the water. Fantastic views and hang out.

The large number of shops and eateries make Hillarys an excellent place to visit. Because the lay out is indoor/outdoor it does lack air-conditioning so it can be warm on a hot day but the ice cream is excellent.

There are a good variety of shops, but most are fairly expensive, including souvenir shops. Iconic destination, worth a little walk around and some lunch at many of the restaurants and cafes.

Popular with the family for a days outing combined with a visit to AQWA Plenty of eating spots & being popular there is often a vibrant atmosphere.

Had a wander around a lot of eatery places a pretty good range both in type and price. Not a big range in other shops though. It looks good but a bit disappointing.

Nice, pleasant place to visit, shops appear to be a bit on the pricey side, although good selection of food to eat. Even if it’s for a stroll or a boat trip you could pass an hour or two here

It is not actually a dog beach. Many people walk their dogs along the board walk on a lead, there is a coffee shop behind the yacht club that is dog friendly and provides water bowls etc.
