Took the walking tour with Sam today and a small (around 10 others) group. Sam has a friendly and cheerful manner that belies his encyclopaedic knowledge of the history of Quebec - the old city and beyond. As others have said, a must do. Loved...More

Sam was an awesome tour guide! We got to see many attractions in old Quebec and got to learn this story behind these locations. On the particular day we went (In March) it was freezing cold but that did not ruin Sam's spirits and we...More

I second all the raves about Sam and his tour of the Old City of Quebec. He's warm, very funny, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, and he makes a lovely connection with everyone--including my 11-year-old grandson. Plus thanks to his humor and generous spirit, a great camaraderie...More

The two hours tour starts in the upper Town and ends in the lower part of the city. Also the tour may be challenging for people with mobility/knee/back issues because there are lots of tricky breakneck stairs to climb down.
