We passed St Matthew Protestant Church several times and decided to explore it and to look into the graveyard, which is one of the oldest in Quebec city. The church, to our surprise, has been converted into a library, but all of the original architecture...More

There are some really interesting headstones, including some imbedded into trees. This is the oldest cemetery remaining in Québec City. It has been turned into a park. It is next to St. Matthew's Church library which is also very beautiful.

A wonderful spot with a very interesting history where you can take a break from a busy day of walking up and down the streets of Quebec; the locals go there to lay in the grass or enjoy a boxed lunch on a sunny day.

Close to the city centre this is worth the little walk it takes to explore. The site is a protestant grave yard with graves from the 1700-1800s. most of the markers look like military officers and their families. Interesting and beautiful with lots of benches...More
