We had a nice dinner on the Grande Allee. It is a hugely busy street--very big with the younger set. A real hang-out for teenagers and young adults. Restaurants abound but are expensive and parking is at a premium.

We walked all over Old Quebec and worked up an appetite. Lots of places to choose from and a wide variety of choices. Sitting outside was perfect for lunch today as the weather was perfect. Highly recommend walking up and down this street for it...More

With all of its restaurants and bars, this is one of the most vibrant streetscapes in the province of Quebec. Lots of great restaurants to try and the nightlife is fun also.

We walked along the Grande Allee in May and it was quite pleasant. I loved venturing outside of the walled city to see the architecture and the pace of the city. You can learn a lot from people-watching so that is what we did. Simply...More

Dining is the thing to do on the Grande Allee. We had lunch on an outside patio and enjoyed the environment and the people watching.

I've been here on two different trips, lots of great restaurants and tons of live music. Very lively place to spend the night.

In the XIX century, Grande Allée was a beautiful street of greystones and lined with trees. Today, it offers some good and very ordinary bars, clubs and restaurants. If you have visited the Fortress on the Plaines d'Abraham or the Musée des Beaux-Arts, you will...More

We rang in the New Year 2018 on the Grande Allee, Quebec City. The temperature was -10F but the crowd was on fire. Live bands, dancing in the streets, great food and drinks, and a fantastic fireworks display. What more could you ask for?! It...More

This is a classic tourist service area. The restaurant chocies are generlaly more affordable than what's in the walled city and hotels in this area are in convenient walking distance of the Old City.
