We thought that this was going to be a farmers' market in the strict sense of the word, but it had the works of local artisans also and this made it even more interesting. Lots of different foods of all sorts: dried fruit, fresh vegetables,...More

We visited in October and really loved wandering around, sampling local products and stocking up on unique foods. The spice shop is unreal- so fresh and a huge assortment. Also tried an amazing array of smoked fish & cured meats, local honey, jams, maple products,...More

Visited around 10am on a Tuesday in February. After checking their website which claims the market is open year-round, there were only 5 or 6 stalls open, about 80% of the building was vacant. Understandably it was winter but this was a bit of a...More

This farmers market is a must go for Quebec culture. Many different foods and crafts (cider, seafood, maple products, wines and beers, cheese!). Open all year round! Venders are kind and will want to chat with you!

The market is within easy walking distance of anywhere within the walls of Old Quebec and even in winter had plenty of stalls. Lots of stuff for tourists: ice cider, local wines, cheeses, cassis liquor, local handicrafts and toiletries. But also great for locals as...More

Great indoor christmas market selling chutneys, jams, maple syrups, fruit veg, seafood and many souvenirs and gift baskets. Lovely time looking round and picked up some gifts and paintings to take home. They shut at 5pm on sundays so come down early to old port.

The Port Market was a nice break from the more touristy places in Old Quebec. There was a great selection of food, at better prices than we saw elsewhere. The vendors ranged from the practical (fruits and veggies) to the indulgent. (Get the maple butter...More

We were there over the Labour Day weekend. Didn't see any ice wine, nor am I positive that it is open during the week. Sorry. We did purchase much fruit that we carried home to Ontario.
