We were able buy varieties of food stuff like foie gras, maple, honey, and pie as presents for family and friends. Prices are reasonable.

Picked up fresh fruits and veggies, pasta, sauce and very nice red wine. Will be a great fresh meal for us!! Also got a few craft items and souvenirs- plenty of pastry and maple syrup goods, too. Good prices, nice people.

I would highly recommend going here first when you travel to Quebec so you can stock up on fresh food (as restaurant food can be quite rich). Keep in mind most of these suppliers speak French only. Highly t commend the almond croissants at the...More

We went to the market at about 10 in the morning . It was not busy. There were fresh local fruits, vegetables and cheese. We enjoyed walking from one stall to another. A interesting place well worth your time to visit.

Even though the Vieux-Port area is pretty much overrun with cruise ship guests, this market stays true to form and offers mostly produce and other local products to local shoppers. Sure, it has the same produce stalls, the same artisan shops, and the same bakeries,...More

Fresh produce, maple goods, cheeses and all sorts! The smells are amazing. Lovely way to pass some time walking a round and sampling so many delicacies. Looking for local fresh fruits and veggies? This is the spot!

If you are staying in Old Quebec you should go for a walk just outside the wall to this extensive farmers market. From the Chateau Frontenac it might take 20 minutes. It will be down hill the entire way there and a relatively steep hike...More

Combination of fixed and temporary vendors. Produce if so beautiful and fresh. At many of the stands they will let you sample their wares. Very clean and friendly.

Lovely market and we visited a couple of times. We did leave the last time feeling cheated though. We had purchased some nougat at a vendor and it was 4 packages for $20 so we picked out 4 packages and passed them to the vendor...More

We were there over the Labour Day weekend. Didn't see any ice wine, nor am I positive that it is open during the week. Sorry. We did purchase much fruit that we carried home to Ontario.
