You'll find most things you need there. a good Chemist and some nice eateries, along with the chateaux of course. Still a poorer cousin to the lower town all the same.

Close to the old Chateau Frontenac here u will find the most interesting area of this district with shops, restos, and museums. A must see! Also take a guided tour of the Chateau and its history. It's even said its haunted! 😉

The upper town is accessible by stairs or the Funiculaire. We accessed the upper town both ways. We loved the European elegance and charm. Although the streets are narrow, this adds to the charm. The churches, shops, and museums are all available for exploration.

One of my favorite cities in all of North America. The architectural design of the building, the restaurants, the stores, it's like a European city at every corner!

We visited lower town first and thought that was good, but we were blown away by the beauty of upper town. Sensational.

We walked around the upper and lower town but took a city tour with a tour company to see where we wanted to spend more time. You can call in the visitor centre and get plenty of information that will help you.
