I only wish it was larger, but the selection was fantastic. There were so many books I wanted to purchase, but couldn't carry back to the US. It was amazing, to me, the marketing differences and selection choices that are so different than what we...More

This small (one room) store has apparently been in business in the same spot with the same owner for 42 years. It's a good used bookstore and most if not all in English. It has that wonderful dusty book smell. I purchased a novel from...More

It is heartwarming to see small used bookstores like this still thriving, especially in a college town. There are no flashy signs outside the door welcoming you. However, they are beyond friendly when you speak with them and incredibly helpful in finding both books they...More

This little bookstore sells an eclectic and intriguing range of second-hand books. It is the perfect place for a book lover to escape the Montreal bluster for an hour or two. You are likely to find a couple of lesser-known classics that have eluded you...More

The only advertisement or signage was a T-shirt in the window with its name when first we ventured off the McGill campus to look for it only to find it was closed. The next day, books on a table caught our attention & welcomed us...More

This one-room bookstore is just amazing. I could hardly believe how many smart, beautiful books were put into this great space. Literature well selected, nice art books, theory, just a perfect bookstore for readers and thinkers. Really nice owner, just super in every way.
