It has spawned some redevelopment in the area including the apartment building where we stayed. Great for hockey fans.Visited June 2023Written June 20, 2023
- Hiranta W7 contributionsGreat value! Can't be the $20 price. Tour last an hour and you get to see parts of the arena that are usually restricted such as the press gondola, alumni lounge and the locker room. Kevin, the guide was very knowledgeable and passionate on the team and willing to answer any questions. Only minor enhancement I would love to see is to add the walk from the locker room to the ice. Would be cool to see the walk that the players take before hitting the ice.Visited July 2023Traveled soloWritten July 10, 2023
- PavlaPavlaChrudim, Czech Republic6,560 contributionsDuring the tour, you will see where you cannot go as a visitor and learn about things you had no idea aboutAlthough I'm not a hockey fan, I really enjoyed the tour in this building. Our guide (an archeology teacher by profession) was absolutely amazing. His narration about everything related to the building of the Bell Centre and the hockey club was interesting, funny, sometimes truly fascinating. I was not bored at all when he told us about how much it costs to buy a VIP seat, how the arena can be converted into a stage for a concert, what hockey players have written in the dressing room and why, how hockey was played before and what it is like today... A very interesting and at the same time funny piece of information for me was why the hockey game used to be played in two halves and now it is thirds. This is because there are two breaks during the match instead of one and the visitors spend more money on refreshments. Well, it's all about the money. :-) We were in the arena itself, in the places for reporters, in the locker room of the hockey players and in the press center.Visited July 2023Written July 30, 2023

Been here for various hockey games, always a blast. Tons of washroom space so you never wait long. Standard overpriced food and drink items once you cross the threshold.
Have been to a few concerts, usually sound is alright but nothing to write home about. However, went to see Madonna this year and we sat in the 330s. Not sure what was going on or if its just due to our seat placement but the bass in those seats just amplified on top of each other until all you could hear was off beat random thumbing which drowned out basically everything else… too bas her stage and production are so epic, just wish we could have actually enjoyed the music.

Do not go this venue if you have issues with walking or stairs!! We spent $2k+ for front row seats with dinner at MyThik resto and there was NO WAY to get to the resto - after going through THREE checkpoints - without walking down 3 flights of stairs. I saw at least 20 other people struggling to get up and down those stairs! Asked 5 different employees about getting to the resto and only one was able to confirm that there really was no ramp or elevator or escalator.

The concert at the Bell Center August 9th, Earth Wind and Fire, and Lionel Richie, was AWESOME!!!!! What an amazing performance. These entertainers are all in their 70's!!!
It brought me back to my teenage and early adulthood in the 70's.
80% were about 60 + and boy did we ever shout it loud ..... :-)

Had to see a Canadiens game while in Montreal. I stayed in town and walked over so I can’t comment on parking, but it’s likely expensive. The place is huge, it’s the largest arena in the NHL. There’s a large history area celebrating the over 100 years of the team.
There are four large sections wrapped around the arena. I was higher up but not in the 400 level. View is still good. Tickets are very price, prime seats were over $500 CDN for an early season game against the Penguins. Sound is great, all announcements are in French and English.
I did not purchase concessions
Game went to overtime, a plus. No issues getting out and heading back to hotel.
While I will never be able to see a game at the historic Forum, this is a good substitute for a hockey mecca.

Went here two nights on the trot - Canadiens game and the following night to watch the Muse concert. What a superb arena this is . We were up in the gods for the hockey game and could see everything - superb vantage point despite being so high. Our concert night we were in a lower tier and once again the viewing was superb. The layout and signage makes it really easy to find where you need to go. Seemed like dozens of eating and refreshment stalls and lots and lots of toilets. Admission and leaving at the end of the night was all handled superbly. Great job to all involved.

It’s the Mecca of Hockey, just like Yankee Stadium is the Mecca of Baseball. Totally worth a visit, I came to see my team play lay against the Canadiens. Everyone was super-friendly. Plenty of food options. If you like hockey it’s a no brainer. I drove 6 hours from NYC and it was completely worth it.

Hi I am going to see Andre Rieu and wanted to know what is the appropriate dress code for this venue. is it open air arena?
Thank you

Hi, this is an enclosed arena, usually used for hockey games so you wont be exposed to the elements.
As for dress code, you wont be cold inside ( depending when the concert is) so wear whatever you like!
Are fans allowed to watch warmups against the glass if they have seats in another area of the arena? I heard that they don't allow fans to do that at the Bell Centre, which is weird because it's allowed everywhere else with no more Covid restrictions.

Merci
Does the venue allow patrons to camp outside of the venue for any number of days before an event?

Does the Bell Centre have WiFi? I don't want to add an International plan to my phone, but would like to be able to be in touch during the week we are at World Skating.

I was gifted tickets to April 2 Elton John concert, sitting in section 210. However, I have a mobility issue and use an electric scooter. I looked through the Bell Center's site, but couldn't find any information on accessibility. Any suggestions on which would be the best entrance door and whether my scooter will be acceptable? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest the entrance next to the ticket office at the bottom of Rue Drummond opposite the Provigo Supermarket.
There are several entrance doors here with staff in attendance.
