The building itself is a wonderful architectural structure, from the outside. From a distance it looks like a glorious building and from close up it looks fantastic. It houses dozens of a range of shops, mostly boutiques, but also cafes and other touristy shops. Unfortunately they are all very expensive! We browsed through some of them and quickly left. Also some of the staff do not seem to know how to treat potential customers, not that too many people would buy anything,!Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 9, 2023

There are so many unique stores but the best one is Mtl decor!🤩 if you’re looking for something memorable to bring from Montreal visit Mtl decor. They sell unique decor and if you’re lucky enough you can even meet the artist himself who makes these pieces of art. Also they sell collection money.Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten November 12, 2023

This market houses a bunch of cute, little shops where you can spend lots of money buying fancy, expensive jewelry and art, or spend a little money buying chachkes, tee shirts, and handicrafts. I spent most of my money buying Canda-made food and maple products. All of the shops are on one floor. I did an initial quick visit to each shop to scope out potential souvenirs, then returned to the shops where I wanted to make purchases. There are public bathrooms in the middle of the market and a fairly-priced cafe called Café des Arts with delicious food and beverages on one end.

The building itself is stunning. The location is also very special, in vieux Montreal just off St Paul Ouest and Ruw de la Commune. The reason for my poor review is this. First, the stores here absolutely inaccessible to anyone other than extremely well off people. Everything is so expensive. What I was REALLY put off by however we’re the craft stores selling goods they either outright said or implied we’re Indigenous art. This is absolutely not so. The items for sale here are mass market recreations and I very much doubt any of the profit goes to Indigenous peoples. It felt disrespectful and like cultural approbation.

The outside of the building is interesting, there are a few shops inside that also may be of interest, but I would not make a special trip here. The quality of what I saw in the maze that the building is, with contruction everywhere, were mediocre at best. Walking around the port and clock tower is cool. The nearby plaza is cool and the gallery of Peter Hart is a pleasure. Watch your step as all buildings drop off to the street level severely. Bonsecours is over-hiped as I see it, a tourist trap. Want to really shop go to Saint Catherine or Saint Laurent.

This is a large building with a silver dome. I thought it must be a govn building. Turns out that it is an indoors shopping mall with mostly higher quality souvenirs. There is also a public restroom inside. Enter the middle main doors under the dome.

This place is a disgrace to the human race. No one should go there. The service is unprofessional and disrespectful. They are a racist establishment with profiling in place. The food is disgusting and overpriced. The cleanliness is doubtful. The manager along with the staff have poor attitude. Their tartare is horrible and makes people sick along with the rest of their food. They do not respect social distanciation. They are shockingly unfriendly. I do not recommend this place.

This isn't really a "food market" its more a collection of tourist oriented shops. Maybe slightly more upscale than the tschoke places, its a place to walk through and pass some time. Pub BreWskey which is located on one corner has a great selection of beers and an outdoor patio once you've passed through.

The Big Fashion Quebec Designers Sale is taking place from October 18th to 21th, 2018 at Bonsecours Market. I'm guessing that you explain it.
