Important center downtown with important buildings all around. Not necessarily for tourists, just in the center.

Nice relaxing spot in the city with some beautiful building surrounding the square. Good place for a snowball fight in the winter.

This pretty little square was a lovely place to sit in the sunshine. There are plenty of benches and a very friendly place with lots of friends sitting and chatting. A great place to stop for a while and watch the world go by.

Nice peaceful space with plenty of seating to rest those weary legs after pounding the streets of Montreal. Whilst resting you can look at the flowers, monuments or stair up at the large building looming over the square. Another pristinely kept area of Montreal.

Near everything, it is a place where one could walk, sit and relax or simply text or read. There are many attractions near-by, shopping and restaurants. The Tourist center is in front of it.

We evidently visited on national donut day, and there were Salvation Army volunteers handing out donuts, which was a fun surprise. There were beautiful flowers and plenty of places to sit and rest on benches. It's very clean and peaceful.

It is good to have a resting moment on this square, looking at its many statues and watching the squirrels burrying nuts.
