I love this park. I play soccer there and have picnics regularly. Bring or rent ice skates in winter for a really fun time skating. (Followed by a warm up at cafe on Rachel) Definitely the most romantic (and cheap!) winter date in town. In...More

Too crowded. If you want to be in a real park, I suggest le Parc Maisonneuve. It's three times the size, and have the feeling of being in nature right in the city.

Very good for family promenades, bicycle rides, just sitting near water looking on ducks. Thery beautiful places around. Sherwood street with historical Montreal architecture. Strongly recommended

A lovey Art Deco style park cafe like we used to see in England. Waiters in aprons, beautiful setting in this wonderful park with its lake.

What a lovely park. I sat and enjoyed the duck pond for quite a while. A calm cool oasis in the heat of the city. Better signage to the public bathrooms would be helpful.

Parc La Fontaine, as it is called in Montreal is a beautiful park just big enough to feel free of the city but not big enough to get lost in. It is as wonderful for its variety of people and for its vegetation and activities....More

We took several trips through this park while visiting Montreal. The boys all had a great time biking around it. We saw a tight rope walker, and a dance demonstration on separate nights. On our second trip we got chicken from Ma Poule Mouillee (which...More
