We stayed across the street from La Fontaine Park. There always seemed to be people relaxing, having picnics and taking strolls. The park has tree lined paths. On a warm Sunday you will see people in the buildings adjacent to the park enjoying time on...More

An early morning summer jog in the Parc La Fontaine is the best. It is almost completely in the shade. The perimeter is almost 2.5km. If you ever get into difficulty, people stop and make sure you're OK.

It was a really nice attraction but it has nothing extraordinary. It is good for a walking tour or by bicycle too.

The park is well located not too far from downtown, big enough to accommodate a lot of people. There are a lot of sports activities and sunbathing in summer is a traditional Montreal feast.
