MTL's double-decker bus tours. From the top take in MTL's sights and sounds with a Double Decker 2 day pass, Unlimited Hop-On Hop-Off. Or relax in a control climate on the Heart of Montreal Motorcoach Tour 3.5 hours. We also offer a day tour to...more
The tour was fun! Perfect way to get around the city. I especially loved that we had 2 days to explore. The actual total tour if you don't get off only takes 2 hours. And it's not a real comprehensive tour. But it's an inexpensive...More
Due to the mixed reviews on here, I was super hesitant to take this tour. We were only visiting Montreal for three days so I was scared of losing a day if it was bad. Thankfully that wasn't the case and we were so happy...More
And we missed... the guide can make or break this tour. Ours was not engaging nor relevant. Our fellow tourists gave us more info that he did. He was a very nice gentleman, but couldn’t hold the group’s attention past minute 10 of 90. Over...More
My hope was to spend some quality time at the Laurentian Mountains. this trip did not deliver on that for a few reasons:
- the trip has many many stops and i felt like we were pushed from place to place. Very rushed trip.
My teen and I had one morning left on our college visit to McGill from the US. We gambled and spent it on this tour with admittedly low expectations, based on some of these reviews, just the hope we would see a bit more of...More
My mom and I with some friends got off of our cruise ship and were excited to spend the day in Montreal. The idea of a hop on, hop off tour seemed interesting. It actually was horrible. The tour bus was old and dirty with...More
We enjoyed this tour up to a point. It did go around the city and point out interesting sights, but we found our minds wandering. There were very few history lessons given on the tour. We were left with a lot of questions regarding the...More
We went on the vehicle that lurches back and forth, with a guide who explained how old and difficult to repair the equipment is. Taking this after the good Toronto experience was a big letdown. a couple of the guides were loud and uninformative.
We used this bus a lot on the first couple of days to get about the city while we got to find our feet. We hopped off and on a few times. A couple of guides were really good, one was ok and one was...More
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
