The great hall is often shown on TV shots of Toronto. So it is worth a few minutes of wandering about to just look at it. At ground level, it is an office building so, aside from walking through the hall, there isn't all the...More

While visiting Canadian friends with some friends from home, we went on daytrips to Toronto twice, using the GO Train from Aldershot Train Station in Burlington. The train goes into Union Station in a section of the Financial District in Downtown Toronto on Front Street....More

I personally love Brookfield Place. It is magnificent with its high ceiling and beautiful architecture. I rat this building with Casa Loma, Royal York Hotel, Union Station and Old City Hall. I love old buildings because they have class and were built with lots of...More

A beautiful place to catch your breathe in this amazing city, plenty of places to sit and grab a snack or drink and the interior design is beautiful, well worth a pit-stop.

This building is an easy walk from Union Station especially if you use the PATH walkway. Just keep left out of Union Station. On the lower concourse you will find a food court with a McDonalds and others, a drug store and about a dozen...More

Sam Pollock Square, located in the atrium of Brookfield Place, is an attractive piece of urban architecture. There are restaurants and coffee shops around the edge, and an escalator takes you down to a food court and the entrance to the Hockey Hall of Fame....More

This is a multi building enclosed space that has used glass and big steel struts to join the buildings. Worth a 3 minute walk through.

A modern steel structure with arches which represent trees and their branches towers above an older RBC building which was moved stone by stone inside to preserve it. Very quiet at weekend, not much is open and they even stop the escalators from working!
