Peaceful, wonderful walking paths. take some time to visit the different areas such as the area dedicated to Koreans and other ethnicities. The monument to Stavros is magnificent . So many variety of trees.

A beautiful walk through Mount Pleasant Cemetery is filled with flowers and history. The walkways are lined by old trees, which are busy with life including squirrels and birds. Notable Toronto names lie here in tombs and family mausoleums. It's worth a stroll.

How can this even be part of a Topic of things to do in Toronto??? If you seriously need to go to cemetary in a different city you have issues.

Of course the cemetery has countless grave stones with lots of historic burials, but it is also a very large and scenic park with extensive trails for strolling and cycling. It's a great place to escape from the surrounding busy city and traffic.

I ride my bike thru this sprawling cemetery,mature trees ,well keeped gardens as it’s has quiet extensive roadway thru it. I also see people walks there dogs , jog ,or just slowly walking.I .also fine if I see there is a funeral burial going on...More
