About
Climb this 1,815-foot-tall observation tower to have the whole of Toronto at your feet and overlook up to 100 miles on a clear day. Once the tallest structure on Earth for over 30 years, the CN Tower attracts travelers to its two observation decks—one of which features a glass floor. If you’re looking for an extra thrill, try Edgewalk, where you can walk hands-free on a ledge surrounding the top floors. The tower is also home to the award-winning 360 Restaurant, which completes a rotation around the structure every 72 minutes, giving you an ever-changing view of the city while you dine. – Tripadvisor

    Lovely view
I enjoyed my visit up the CN tower, we went at 4pm the hung around until the sun went down so we had best of both worlds- seeing the city in day and night. Would recommend you visit the CN tower if you’re going Toronto. This was included in the Toronto city pass I purchased. The only thing I didn’t like - half of it was closed for a private event so couldn’t get a 360 view.

    Camera to the ready, Enjoy
Great experience, will do it again. Plan your visit, reasonable priced tickets are available at the tower base, both at a kiosk and ticket machines. Staff very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices at the observation deck cafe are surprise surprise, reasonable. The gift shop whilst very well stocked and is somewhat touristy in its pricing!! Definitely try for the clear day, an evening visit with sunset whilst your at the observation deck is simply awesome. Again plan carefully. Looking forward to a visit in the winter with lots of snow ( on the ground 😀) and clear crisp sky. Pack the best camera possible for a life memory. Well Done Toronto.

Impressive views, but experience was underwhelming
The views are impressive... however when I visited, a good 1/3 of the main observation deck was closed to the public, and the glass floor was not open either. Despite that, no discount of any sort was offered. Still paid full price, for 2/3 of the experience. The "Skypod" is another viewing area about 100m above the main observation deck which can be accessed for an extra fee. I didn't find the view from up there much any more impressive or interesting from than what you see at the main deck. I also wished that either the main observation deck or the skypod had imagery pointing some important landmarks that are visible from up there, or at least some audiovisuals enhancing the learning experience. This is very common in other observation towers that I've visited. I found that there was not much explanation or interaction on display, so you're really coming (and paying) only for the views.

    Amazing, a MUST DO
It is indeed a place to see. The weather was not that great do the view was not the greatest but it was impressive indeed. I actually went to both decks and the upper one wasn't more impressive, so it's not a must to go there. Specially in the cold season as all the other activities were closed: walking on the edge is the only one i remembered. It is though a place you HAVE to have on your 'to-do' list. It is impressive. The view and the way you can see the city is a 5 times YES from me. Have fun travelers!!!

So cool to do as a tourist!
Visited with family during sunset hour. Experience always better with people you truly enjoy. Delightful dinner atmosphere and tasty food options, great wine recommendation and an overall memorable time.

Definitely go here when in Toronto
Visited here just before Xmas 2022 whilst on holiday for our first time in Toronto. Been somewhere we wanted to visit for a while and it didn’t disappoint. Was really easy to get tickets and all the staff were helpful. Tickets were reasonably priced and the gift shop was amazing

    A must in Toronto
This was the first attraction we visited when we got to Toronto. We paid for the SkyPod + Timed General Admission. In my opinion, you get better views from the lower platform because it's bigger so can move freely and the windows are larger. The views from the top are amazing. It can get very crowded during summer time so be aware that this could create lines and waiting time. Renovations were taking place during our visit so multiple parts of the towers were closed which was unfortunate. The Souvenir shop inside the tower is great so make sure you stop by.

    Spectacular
You've got to visit if you're in Toronto. The views are absolutely spectacular - it's fun to look down on the planes landing at the nearby airport. It's also worth paying a few extra bucks to go to the top viewing platform (unless you can't stand heights!)

    Toronto’s Top Thrill
The CN Tower is an absolute must-visit if you're looking for a heart-pumping and dazzling experience. Pay to go to the SkyPod, the highest spot humans can stand in a building in the western hemisphere, and you can even feel the building flex in the wind. Watching planes land at Billy Bishop Airport is a surreal experience witnessing them like miniatures. A literal cannot miss, the single most important thing to do in Toronto even as a local.

    A must see attraction.
This is a must see attraction. I'd highly recommend dinner towards sunset and sit near the window. Just stunning to see the city from here. With dinner, you skip the crowds and lines and get a wonderful dinner with great service. 10/10.

I've travelled in Europe and in many Eastern States and the prices for the 407 etr are outrageous. In Italy 3 euros allowed me to drive on one of their toll roads for hours. In the state of New York I paid under $6 to travel in both directions between Buffalo and Albany. Yet here in Toronto, they have "time of use" charges and outrageous rates in general. I travel on the 407 etr about 12 - 14 times a month between 403 and Dundas and it always costs me +$145 per month. If it wasn't for the fact I have little choice I wouldn't travel it.

Yes it's expensive but you get great views of the city. We went when it opened and there was no queue/line, just a short stop for secutity checks. We could spend as long as we wished at both the main observation deck and the skypod which has an additional charge. I think it is worth doing both as it is a different experience higher up and there is additional information available there such as the pendulum that shows if the tower is swaying. We were lucky to have a reasonably clear day for views. There is the usual gift shop, etc on the ground floor. Yes, it is just a high view of a city but see it as an experience and part of a visit to Toronto also.

This is a must-see if you're visiting Toronto for the first time, as it's part of the Toronto skyline and was the world's tallest building for 30+ years. You're affordable a gorgeous panorama view of the entire city, so take the time to enjoy the scenery. We were lucky enough to have a clear day, which made this excursion extra special. We also appreciated that they didn't hustle us out in a specific amount of time, so we could spend as much time here as we wanted. There's plenty of seating if you want to take a break.

The one drawback I'll add is that ticket prices are pretty steep ($43/adults and $30/kids), so make the most of your visit.

A must see and visit when in Toronto. We were fortunate to have a very clear day with great views. We paid the additional fee to go to the highest viewing point which was fine but it didn't really add a lot. It was a bit expensive. Last time I visited was in December 1977!

Brilliant experience. The atmosphere at the top was great - I have some vertigo and found it fine, it felt really safe and the views were stunning. The staff were really fun and friendly - it was Halloween and they made a fuss of our kids and gave them a bag and sweets at various points. I found the staff really interesting to chat to. The light at the top was lovely and there were lots of tables and seats around the outside - there wasn’t a time limit for coming down so we could just enjoy the experience. We walked down a level (there were lifts if needed) to where there is a glass floor area and we enjoyed that too - it felt safe and you could avoid it if you wanted to. Huge thanks to all the staff for a lovely time.

The view is great - but that's it. The place was very crowded, and the cafe prices were high (as one would expect).

The CN tower provides unparalleled views of the city of Toronto. While the views during the day are fantastic, do youself a favor and head there around dusk. Watching the city illuminate after dark is truly breathtaking.

I got there early, around 9.45am to be greeted by a staff member asleep as I went to pay! I had to go to the next counter to get my ticket as he was clearly not going to wake up!!
Fairly average tourist fodder really, it was all quite impersonal. Members of staff standing in groups talking, and they seemed to be bothered when I wanted to go in a lift, as there was nobody else waiting.
Nice views from the top, but not worth paying the extra to go a little higher.
A case of done that, got the T shirt ain't going back. All over in 25 minutes. Couldn't get out of there quick enough. Very cold atmosphere.
