This memorial is a very emotional place to visit. Two military guards are on duty and you can watch the changing of the guards every hour. And of course, the tomb of the unknown soldier is there as well.
Centrally located, tasteful and informative tribute to those we too often forget. Daily changing of the guard who protect the tomb of the unknown soldier is worth the visit. Numerous statues and placards around the monument depict those who helped shape Canada s history
The memorial is guarded in summer and there is a ceremonial changing of the guard on the hour up till 5pm. Amazing bronze statues which are worth a closer look. Also the grave of the unknown soldier lies here.
