Although, it's not a huge garden, it's a wonderful place to snap a few photos and wander or sit for a while. Definitely worth the stop on your way through Oakville.

There's not a lot to walk around and see, however I do often see swans by the lake, and when the flowers are in bloom it's definitely beautiful to walk through or sit there.

Gairloch Gardens, you could drive past it without knowing it's there. A beautiful rose garden, large and mature trees, unobstructed view of the lake. Definitely worth the visit if you wanted to enjoy the view of Lake Ontario, smell the flowers, sit under a tree....More

It a lovely walk, not too long, through the gardens and to Lake Ontario. The gardens are very well attended. There is an art gallery there with various exhibits that change often, so there's always something new to see. Adequate parking.

Lots of parking. Not usually busy. I took my young son for a walk through the gardens, down to the lake to splash stones. It was a great afternoon

These gardens are gorgeous and it is very relaxing looking out on the Lake. The rose garden and beautiful pond add to the peaceful atmosphere. Parking is limited though.

Gaiirloch Gardens is a lovely waterfront park where can spend time contemplating out over Lake Ontario. Beautiful oerennial gardens, a walled path along the waters edge and very quiet. In addition, they have a small art gallery that features local artists. We enjoy coming here...More

Somehow, I seem to think they are intended to be walked vs. cycled. There are sections along the path where you can stop and enjoy a particular garden (eg. rose garden).
