    3 Stars as noted
I have 2 criticisms about this restuarant so I am only giving them 3 stars. First I have a stomach problem with rich sauces. I ordered the beef stroganoff. Usually this comes with buttered noodles but rhis came with a rich sauce. This should be NOTED on the menu! Second when I made the reservation on line they asked if this was for a special occasion. I typed in yes we were celebrating our anniversary. Not sure why as they did did not acknowledge our special day. I would not go back.

    Awesome
We did the buffet dining experience and it was amazing. For $49.00 CAD per person you can’t beat that. It’s cheaper than the regular menu. Also if you dine in you get to the observation deck for free. So it’s great deal.

wife's first trip to the top
This was my wife's first trip to the top and my second, but the first was over 30 years ago. The view is great and you can get a dollar off deal if you find a coupon in one of the many tour books they put out. They really do not limit the time spent on the observation deck so feel free to take your time. The one thing I did not care for was the photos they try to get you to take and then purchase on the way down. Too pricey. Also, they try to get all the people they can in the elevator so the trip up is rather cramped.

    Wonderful Experience - OK Food
I would go again for the atmosphere and delightful views. The food is not memorable and there is a required minimum amount per person, which seemed to be $50 Canadian, not including beverages or dessert. One person in our party attempted to order two appetizers and a dessert, which would have cost over $50 and she was told that, regardless of ordering the dessert, she needed to order a third appetizer if not ordering one of the pricier entrees. Service was very good and it was a charming evening all in all.

    Amazing views,and a good Buffet.
My wife booked the Skylon tower buffet before we arrived in Niagra, and to be fair we really enjoyed it.like other reviewers have stated the tower is looking its age but the reception area and lifts up and down are well organised ,so no long wait. We were seated at a table for two next to the windows and wow !!! the views are fantastic.but to honest regardless were your sitting the views are stunning. The buffet isn’t the biggest ,so don’t expect a Vegas casino sized one ,but the selection was good and we enjoyed are food. After our meal your ticket includes a trip to the viewing platform, and again great views. A really good experience we both enjoyed and if I’m being honest probably the best meal we had during are stay in Niagra falls.

Most beautiful view ever while eating!
Had a great dinner at the buffet with a Perfect view of niagara falls while we ate. The buffet was wonderful (a little pricy for a buffet dinner) But the view while eating was worth it. The meal also came with a free ticket to the observation deck, and what a view. Tip: for the best view reserve dinner early in the evening .

    Fantastic! Highly recommended
We ate at the Skylon Tower, choosing the buffet restaurant at $50. As it costs $20 just to go up to the observatory, we thought the price was okay. The food was really good, and as it is an all you can eat buffet, there's plenty of choice and the food is good quality (except the 'chicken fingers' were awful - tasted old as well as being cold!). Our table was booked for 5pm and we arrived to check in at 4.45pm, securing a window seat. The views are truly amazing. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Views and a delicious meal
We had a delicious early dinner that included admission to the observation level. Service was wonderful! The views of the various falls and the river were breathtaking during our meal and afterward from observation area. Restaurant rotates so you have the opportunity to see everything for miles in every direction.

Visit Skylon Tower if you can!
Amazing dinner and views from Skylon Tower today. We ate at the buffet restaurant, delicious selection of foods with starter, mains, desserts, cheese & coffee/tea for $50 per head (£37) Staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Parking is so easy in the town, even for the motorhome with multiple parking lots offering all day parking for $5-10

We decided to go here after taking in the view of the falls up close at Table Rock Visitor Center. The tower is on the blue line for the city buses, and it’s easy to get directly from Table Rock to the tower this way, but just be aware that the bus only takes cash unless you have a bus pass. The basement has a lot of old arcade games, which is nice for families if you’re into that. The view from the 360 viewing deck is amazing! We loved seeing the falls from a new perspective! I would definitely recommend it if you have time.

Views at night were amazing. It was windy (and cold) so be prepared for that! We walked all the way from our hotel otherwise you can pay to park. It was a great way to end our stay with the fall’s illuminated at night!

Great views! We visited in the afternoon and didn’t have much of a wait.Wish that there was signage or story boards to explain the distant views. All the employees were friendly.

I thought this was brilliant and absolutely loved it!! After going to the CN tower in Toronto the day before my expectations were low as it’s a lot smaller but I was not disappointed at all! The views are incredible! I was absolutely amazed! I would highly recommend doing this!

Being the middle of February the Skylon was virtually empty.

There’s an old fashion arcade at the bottom of the tower which requires coins.

The lift up to the observation deck is manned and the staff provide good local knowledge of the falls and the area.

Nice little souvenir shop at the top and let’s not forget the great 360 degree views which can be had on a lovely clear day.

£32 for three of us, not a bad price considering the views which you get.

Our visit to Skylon Tower's Observation Deck in Niagara Falls, Ontario, turned into an unexpected adventure that began with a casual stroll from our hotel. Accidentally stumbling upon the entrance to the tower, I sensed a mix of excitement and apprehension, knowing my wife's fear of heights. On a whim, I suggested we give it a try, and before we fully realized what we were doing, we had tickets in hand and were snapping a few photos at the entrance, aware of the impending charge for these mementos.

The elevator ride to the top was surprisingly smooth, and it barely felt like we were ascending to such a great height. While my wife initially avoided the view, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery unfolding as we rose. The top of the tower offered a warm, enclosed space with a stunning 360-degree view, allowing us to marvel at the landscape in comfort.

What I particularly enjoyed was the comparison board, which provided fascinating insights into how Skylon Tower ranks among the world's tallest structures. Discovering a board signed by famous celebrities added an unexpected layer of excitement, especially when my wife recognized the tower as a filming location from a Superman movie - a detail that thrilled her.

Despite her initial reluctance, my wife's curiosity got the better of her, and she cautiously ventured outside. Staying close to the inner wall at first, her fascination with the panoramic views soon overcame her fear. Together, we took a complete walk around the deck, capturing incredible photos and videos of the surrounding beauty.

The souvenir shop on the inside was our next stop, where we picked a few keepsakes to remember our visit. Although we debated the price of the professionally edited photos taken at the entrance, we ultimately decided to purchase them, valuing the memories over the cost.

Reflecting on our experience, the Skylon Tower Observation Deck offered much more than just stunning views. It provided us with a memorable adventure, complete with unexpected discoveries and personal triumphs over fear. Despite the initial hesitation and the slightly overpriced photos, the experience was well worth it, making for an unforgettable part of our Niagara Falls visit.

The day after our impromptu visit to Skylon Tower, my wife and I embarked on our previously booked "Niagara Falls in One-Day: Deluxe Sightseeing Tour of American and Canadian Sides." Dayna from Over the Falls Tour company was awesome. We overlooked the itinerary, which included another visit to the Skylon Tower. What might have seemed redundant turned out to be a delightful encore to our already memorable experience.

The weather was notably warmer on this second visit, which made exploring the outdoor observation deck not just bearable but thoroughly enjoyable. The improved conditions allowed us to appreciate the panoramic views of Niagara Falls and its surroundings with a new perspective. The clear skies and gentle breezes enhanced the natural beauty of the landscape, making the sights even more breathtaking than the day before.

This ferris wheel is enormous! We went at night and timed it perfectly to see the fireworks. We had to best view of the show!

Would love to do it again during the day to see how far we could see!

Have some great photos and footage. You can be on top there as long as you’d like and it’s honestly the best.
