It has potential, but in our August visit the cafe was closed and the rose garden was fenced off. There are still worthwhile plants and trees to see, so my advice is to visit the Butterfly Conservatory and then wander through the gardens. Two hours in the BC parking lot should be fine.

The last time we had been to Niagara falls this garden was beautiful. Now it looks neglected, we were there in mid-May so that may have been part of it, but other gardens we had seen in the area had many flowers blooming. The garden is free but you have to pay for parking.

We visited the gardens in the morning of August 2 and were extremely disappointed to see how weeds had taken over much of the gardens; it was saddening to say the least. We visited in 2020 during the pandemic and things were bad then too but we were hopeful the situation had improved but regrettably it had not. We saw that the staff were working hard but there didn’t seem to be enough of them to deal with the scale of the problem. Perhaps volunteer help would be a good idea or abandoning some of the gardens to concentrate efforts on a manageable size area could be considered.

Huge acreage! But only area to left of the parking lot was tended. I’m glad we came. Maybe a little underwhelming after visiting other botanical gardens. We chose to not spend the money on the butterfly conservatory. Pay to park. Part of a beautiful drive from the falls.

We enjoyed the gardens, such a wonderful experience. We’re the only one that was able to see the Botanical Gardens. Hopefully we’ll be able to return soon to see the gardens soon! Such a nice place for families. The butterflies were amazing 😉💕🏡

My wife and I visted this on our latest trip to Niagra Falls . A very large free Botanical Gardens. Lots of paths and ground to cover. Some very nice displays and gardens. Although not as nice as it used to be.

The botancial gardens are simply out of this world. We went there beginning of May
and thousands and thousands of pink/purple tulips were out. The address is 2565
Niagara Parkway and gardens are located 10 minutes north of the Falls near the Queenston Bridge. The best thing about the gardens are they are FREE. Be sure to arrive early to
avoid the crowds and bus tours. We arrived around 10am on a Tuesday and almost
had the gardens to ourselves. There are 99 acres of beautiful maintened gardens
including periannuals, rhododendrons, azaleas, shade and herb plus vegetables. In
the summer months the roses are out and there are 2400 roses bushes. Be sure to
take the footpath behind the Butterfly conservatory which has a collection of oramental
trees and shrubs and also features a pond. While we were there the pink, white and red flowering crab trees and dogwood trees were out in full bloom. By the greenhouses are some white ducks, and enclosed are peacocks and various other birds. For those not able to
walk the whole 99 acres there are horse and bug rides for $17.50 per person. There
is also a souvenir store on the grounds. All grounds and flowers are maintened by the
Niagara Horiculture School located at the premises. Allow at least 1 or 2 hours to
fully see everything and the grounds are open from dawn to dusk.

We visited here and took some really great pictures. This is a great place to even host a wedding or at least take some nice wedding photos.

I highly, highly recommend going here! It is about 10 minute drive or less from the Clifton Hill area. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous! There are roses everywhere, and a beautiful fountain. There are also several trails that you can walk along and see all the nice landscaping.

People think "I'm going to a botanical garden, so I'm going to see lots of flowers in bloom." We really didn't see that much blooming, but the greenery was amazing. Just walking around and seeing all the different trees, plants, and herbs was peaceful and serene.
