Floatation therapy also known as sensory deprivation therapy is the practice of spending an hour or more floating in a pod that contains 10 inches of constantly heated water mixed with a 1000 pounds of therapeutic grade Epsom salt. The water is so buoyant that you are floating instead of sinking. All distractions have been removed leaving you in a peaceful state of weightlessness.
