We spent most of the day at this museum and went back in the evening to hear a free informative talk about the HMCS Sackville. The collection requires several hours to view completely and ranges across the gamut of local and more general maritime history....More

This is a very nice museum. It has an exhibit of the Halifax Explosion, the largest man--made explosion until the atomic bomb. It also has an exhibit of ships that I found very interesting.

Easy visit. Went to see the Titanic exhibit and learned a lot more than I expected. You don't need to be a maritime buff to enjoy this museum.

From early rowboats to the Titanic and other luxury cruise ships, you'll see well-presented displays of Nova Scotia's connection to the sea. Expect to spend more than an hour here.

This is a great museum for all Sailers and Seamen. Some very interesting artifacts and multiple pictures of the history of North Atlantic, including the enormous explosion that rocked Halifax and original items recovered from the Titanic. Worth the time and price of admission.
