We just had a short visit there as it was 45 minutes to closing and all exhibits were shut down already. I suggest that folks should go early in the day.

Coming in the summer filled the citadel with period actors. It really the citadel come to like. The kids activity book really kept my 3 and 5 year old engaged. Tip: get the activity book first. We had to double back.

We spent a couple of hours at this site and could have stayed longer if we'd had time. Many interaction chances with Fort soldiers as well as videos to watch and history to (re)learn. Fair amount of parking available. Food is available on site.

We travelled to and around the Halifax Citadel on the Harbor Hopper tour. The Citadel is in the centre of Halifax. It is a 'must' see. The history is interesting!
