Great spot for a hike! Be prepared for the weather as it can change as you round each point with the wind vs heat and sun. Layers work well along with good shoes. Don't forget your camera to capture the seals off shore!

There are just so many beautiful sites and wonders of Nova Scotia, while in the Halifax area this is a close one to take in, close to the city and great trails to truly experience some of the wonders of the rugged coastline and fauna.

Best thing we did in the Halifax area! I highly recommend it for its stunning views. The exposed rocks, crashing waves, and old bunkers were all highlights.

Loved this out and back hike along the ocean. The views are spectacular - bring binoculars if you can (there's a seal colony, a light house, and plenty of coastal birds you might be interested in having a closer look at). The total length of...More

We were not expecting the big rocks along the coast. Great climb & hike!! Stunning views of the ocean 🙂 Stay on the trail as the bushes have thorns. Learned the hard way lol

We had a great time hiking from the parking area on Ketch Harbor Road out to the Military bunkers at the end of the trail and back. It was a beautiful day, warm but breezy, and the four of us took our time and enjoyed...More
