There is a good variety of vendors, selling everything from fresh produce, to handmade foods and crafts. There is ample parking, even for larger vehicles or those towing trailers (lots of tourist traffic in the summer).

An interesting Farmers' Market with in season produce and Arts and Crafts. There was a group performing Scottish Dancing on the day we visited. Located on the edge of the town.

We were passing through Antigonish on a Wednesday and saw the signs for the farmer's market. It was small, being Wednesday, but there were three or four farmers selling a variety of produce, plus some others with other things for sale. We bought from three...More

Had the opportunity to visit this market and it was quite busy- both in terms of vendors and customers. Lots of variety in vendors - fresh produce, crafts (hand made quilts, bags and also greeting cards). Make sure you get there early though as popular...More

I think we were the only tourists visiting but felt warmly welcomed. Locals keen to advance their goods. Nice selection of foods, fruit, veg and crafts. Would visit again.

If you like local products, and still want a vast variety of vendors, this is the place. The numerous stalls provide for local vegetables, meat, fish (delicious!) and pastry, on top of the usual local crafts, clothes and flowers. Fair prices, very relaxed atmosphere, ideal...More

Lots of stalls. Good vibe and pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning. There are many local vendors and also some from other parts of the province. I go for jewellery, baking and produce.

A decent local farmer's market and not very pretentious. Likely to find a collection of local goods and not some of the trappings of the bigger city farmer's markets.

antigonish farmers market has quietly become a staple for many shoppers of food vegetable craft and even clothing plus nick nacks...its a friendly gregarious outing that has shifted venues a bit the last few years... the exhibition barns behind the antigonish areana is an earthy...More

There is a nice variety of vendors that provide vegetables, fruit, great sausages (without fillers and preservatives), a variety of baked goods, honey, jewelry, knitted items, ethnic cooking and many more items too numerous to mention.
