This is a charming friendly town with many old buildings from early 1800. Nice walking tour available from the visitor centre.

Liverpool was more interesting than it first appeared. We drove through town and learned about privateers and the coast was pretty there too.

Probably a town you could skip if you're pressed for time. There's not much here aside from the lighthouse, and the town is a bleak port city in the end. Restaurant choices pretty limited too.

The town itself is pretty (at least the waterfront portion that I saw). We enjoyed eating at Lane's Privateer Inn. The Tourist Information building didn't provide enough outside the immediate area to be useful to us and the notebook available for public wifi completely sucked...More
